I mean, it sometimes feels like people started with the PS3 and 360, which is pretty sad. | MeIon Bread 07/01/18 11:31:16 AM #1 | It has a number of drawbacks, like the cancer-inducing graphics, and the pathetic two controller ports (lol), to say nothing of that bizarre grey design with the spiky edge, but the main problem was the games library. If you didn't like RPGs, a lot, there wasn't actually that much to play. Don't get me wrong, it had some games that seemed pretty good, like the Tomb Raider games, although most of them I only played briefly. There was so little to play, apart from those RPGs. You know, I owned every console of that generation, apart from the PS1. Had a good time with my Saturn, an excellent time with my Dreamcast, and an amazing time with my N64. Another funny thing: the PS1 outsold the N64 by a ratio of about 3:1, but most of the people I went to school with, had the N64. These people had good taste. How did the PS1 become so popular?
